Error Message: Explorer has caused an error with shell32.dll

Hello Everyone,

I recently ran AD-Aware 6 and tried to clean up some of
the "spy" ware on my system after doing all of this I have
not been able to open up Windows Explorer, My Computer,
The Control Pannel, or the search function because I am
receiving error messages such as the following:

Explorer has caused an error with SHELL32.dll
Explorer has caused an error with DIMM.dll

I tried reinstalling the Internet Explore 6 service pack 1
because I can still use Internet Explorer for the web
without any problems.

I have been unable to find the solution to be able to use
the search function and Windows Explorer. Does any one
have any ideas on how to fix this?

Surprised no else has answered!

There is a differnce between Windows 'Explore' and microsoft's Internet
Explorer.
One is part of the operating system,
the second is a program used for browsing the web.

Try StartProgramsAccessoriesSystem ToolsSystem Restore.
