Since you are not using USB, you'd be safe to delete it in the control
panel and reboot...hopefully it will be reinstalled correctly...
and if so you can do the same for the other devices.

OTOH: If all is working ok, you may want to just ignore it

It's Ms.' PC which she uses everyday for her work. I'm not sure; but
in the event I screw it up, there may be a death penalty involved, or
at least some type of organic dismemberment policy.

Though you are not likely to hurt it, being your wife's machine and it's
working...I'd leave it alone!

When my wife was at work, I updated her Win7 machine and the update
broke Photoshop.

Though I uninstalled the update and got Photoshop working again.

I should not have done anything to her machine when she was in the
middle of a big project.

Anyway, her book is going to the publisher tomorrow .

Congratulations! Book's subject? Who is publsiher? What is book title?
What is author's name?

Great URL's thank you.

Just north of Milwaukee is a monastery, Priests of the Sacred Heart,
that among other places have missionary priests in Africa. From
memory, they've lost some 12 priests in Africa during the spate of
anti-American/anti-outsider violence. We knew some of these priests
personally. Horrible to think about what they went through, being
killed not quickly.

On a much lighter note. The monastery is located on what used to be
called "Lover's Lane" seriously, but now I think they legally got the
name changed to Highway 17, something like that.

As a long time Milwaukee resident I recall when "Lover's Lane" was the
edge of town...now HWY 100 or 108th st, it's hardly the edge of town
anymore, where the suburbs go out past 170th st.

The though of all the world violence is quite sickening...AFAIK, it's
always been that way.
