Default Updating fresh install of WinME

I am thinking of doing a fresh install of WinME on an older PC that I
have just picked up for my daughter. It came with a WinME upgrade CD and
Win98FE OEM install CD. Unfortunately the previous owner did not practice
safe hex and the OS is in a poor way.

I think I have copies of all upgrades and patches (except IE6SP1) stored
locally on my own PC, and/or on CD. However, not all my copies have the
original date/time stamp and I am unsure of the order that I should apply
these upgrades and patches. I also realise that some upgrades or patches
are not necessary to install as they have been superceded by cumulative
upgrades and patches.

Does anyone have a listing of all the patches and upgrades that I should
apply, and in which order ? Also, is there a download source for a full
IE6SP1 upgrade, rather than the online version (so I can store locally,
thinking of the impending demise on official WinME support).

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Doc.

When you download run the installer for IE6, you should get an option to
install, or to copy the files locally to install later.
