No, it is not normal and your post shows as sent at 11:30 GMT, which
is the time you say you sent it.

Hi, I just noticed that when I post on NG`s, In the Sent colum the time is
an hour in front of when I actually sent it(if I post one at 11.00 it shows
as being sent at 12.00) this one posted 11.30. Any ideas? is this normal?

It shows as being posted at12:09 GMT so you may be the only one seeing
it incorrectly. I hardly think it is the weather.
Check your own time and time zone.

Thanks Allen My own time and time zone show as being correct. If I goto Sent
Items folder it shows the correct sent time. If it`s not the weather what
could it be. I stupidly opened that "Osama found hanged" Trojan last week
and done several online scans to get rid of it which I think was successful
and subsequent scans show nothing and the machine seem to be running ok. Win
98se OE6 IE6SP1 all critical updates & patches up to date AV and anti
spyware ect.

Since you are posting via a news server other than MSNews, perhaps it is a
problem on that news server. Try setting up an MSNews server account
directly--click he

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...gen_discussion

When you close the NG by going to a different folder in OE, you will be prompted
to make the account (on the server) permanent and to finish setting it up.
