Mysterious MSScript Control Error

I keep getting a strange error "MSScript Control::Unknown
error" whenever I boot the offending Win ME system. It
doesn't appear to be a virus as the Norton definitions are
up to date. No new apps have been installed on the
machine. Anyone know what it is or how to figure out what
is causing the problem?
