Can't install .NET Framework
When attempting to install .NET Framework, upon clicking
Yes to "Microsoft .NET Framework Setup needs to update the Microsoft Windows Installer components before Setup can continue. Proceed with installation?", the following error is generated: "Setup cannot access Windows Installer components. Setup cannot continue." I've downloaded Windows Installer 2.0 from the Microsoft site, and when I attempt to run InstMsiA.exe, I am informed that "The specified service already exists." I have deleted all instances of the executable, and attempting to re-install produces the same result. What would correct this issue? |
