Default Display Properties Applications Tab

I can't change my display settings on my computer. When I
try to, it doesn't respond, and I have to close it using
Ctrl+Alt+Del because the hourglass won't let me do
anything else. Everything else in the display properties
box works, and I just used the applications tab the other
day, but now I'm stuck with a black background because I
can't change it back. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Try reinstalling your video drivers.
