Win 98 Backup
I have a problem making a backup from both Quickbooks and
MYOB onto a re writable CD. In both cases I can go as far as the backup command in the programmes and then I get a pop up window headed: "Backup You do not have permission to open this file. See the owner of the file or an administrator to obtain permission." I am the owner and I dont know how to get beyond this and fix it. Please can anyone help with this. Mike. |

Have you confirmed that you can write to the re-writeable CD, for instance
by using Explorer to drag and drop a file onto the CD? -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "Michael" wrote in message ... Mike. 1) Have you been able to do it before from within the programs and not now? 2) Can you do the task from within Windows Explorer? 3) Is the disk formatted? -- Sincerely, | (©) (©) | ------ooo--(__)--ooo------ Andrew H.
