Desktop Right-click Context Menu
Until recently everything on my W98 system behaved
normally - but now when I bring up the right-click context menu and select "New" (looking to create a new Shortcut for instance) there is a delay of about a second, then Explorer crashes! No sub-menu items appear... just the hesitation prior to the standard "Explorer - This program has performed an illegal function and will be closed down etc" error message. I suspect something has hosed my registry - but I have no idea what to look for. Can anyone illuminate me please? |
