ctrl, alt, delete do nothing
All of a sudden, when I use the ctrl-alt-delete command,
nothing happens. What gives? Please drop me a line if you know of a fix for this. Thanks. |

C-A-D not working:
Check and see if TaskManager is loading. START/Run/msconfig Check in the Startup tab. Check your keyboard: 1. Highlight something in this post, and press Ctrl+Insert to copy. Open Notepad, and press Shift+Insert to paste. Did it paste? 2. If it worked, then highlight what you just pasted into Notepad and press the Delete key under the Insert key. Did it delete? 3. Press Alt+F4 to close Notepad. Did it close? If any one of these steps failed, then you have a bad keyboard. +++++++++++++++++++++++++ Post back if the above doesn't do the trick.... Heirloom, old and bet it is the keyboard.....turn it over and tap it, see if some big boogers fall out.....may just be something under a key. "steve" wrote in message ... Some viruses kill Task Manager. Though I think that would more typically be
it opens then immediately closes. Shane "heirloom" wrote in message ... C-A-D not working: Check and see if TaskManager is loading. START/Run/msconfig Check in the Startup tab.
