Default cannot 'talk' to win98 from winXP Pro

I have my main computer (XP Pro) which is connected to a router and my
secondary computer (Win 98 SE) connecting to my router via wireles-G PCI
card. The internet works great on it. However no matter how many times I
try I can't find the shared files from XP I want to access on the 98. I ran
the network setup wizar4d on the XP, created the network setup disk and
whatnot...and have searched around but I still cant find anything. Also if I
click view workgroup computers in My Network Places I get an error message
saying my network (called 'home') isn't available. Granted I am new to the
networking thing but I was under the impression it would be easier Any
ideas would be great!
