Use a Magic Marker(tm). A ruler may also help if you want a straight, thick
black line.

Oh, wait; do you mean on a 'page' of some sort in a program? If so it might
help if you told us what program you're trying to draw one on.

Im sorry but I can't resist, since you haven't provided specifics goals:

Get a piece of paper and grab a black magic marker and make the line as big
as you want.

If it's HTML?

HR for standard size
hr style="background-color:blue; height: 20px; width: 400px; border:
dashed black 2px;" for a line 20 pixels thick, blue background and a
dashed border.

DOS text document:
ALT+0219 all the way across the page, helpful if your video adapter can
handle a white background, also you would need to enable ANSI.sys in the
Config .sys [C:\Config.sys], like thus:

DEVICE=C:\Windows\Command\Ansi.sys

Check out file:///C:\Windows\Msdosdrv.txt for info on making your DOS
world come alive.
