Does anyone know how to get a Key Code if you lost the certificate?

Default Lost Key Code

If Win98 is still running, get it from the Registry with Regedit.exe
The key is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion
The value is ProductKey

The problem is I cannot run the install without the code. The only other
system I have have Vista Home Installed, and I'm terrified to try to search
the disk. Do you know if it will auto run, if I turn off the feature in
Vista?

If by the "disk", you mean the Win98 CD, then it does not have the
code anywhere. It comes separate from the CD, so there is no point
putting it in a Vista machine.
