Default Very Slow Downloading

I've done scan disk, spybot removal, defrag, etc......and I have a very slow
downloading speed. When I initially sign-on...it takes minutes to get
everything booted. When browsing, it's very slow. I have 28.6 gigs on Drive
C: and have used 5.32. Is there a way to pull a list of programs, etc...that
I could review to remove those taking up space, other than Add/remove
programs...looking for suggestions to improve performance....

look here for instructions on how to clean up your startup axis, preventing
unnecessary programs loading
(enter any item in the startup list in MSCONFIG into the search box on the
page, and click Search)
http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php

for detailed instructions - look here
