W98 booting to safe mode only
Hi.=20
I have this same very problem. I've installed a second HD=20 in my AthlonXP clone. First booted to prompt (not in=20 windows mode) then used Fdisk to partition 2nd drive.=20 Note: never touched my first drive!!! then I restarted the=20 machine now I get a "General Protection Error: Windows=20 must be restarted" after initial W98 boot screen and=20 system is halted. =BFDid I messed up anything in my machine, although I did=20 nothing to my boot drive (although the results suggests=20 that I did unadvertedly)? Thanks for your time and best regards.... Lerxst. |
