Safe mode to normal mode
Are you sure that it is in Safe Mode? It *may* just be the wrong screen
resolution which looks like Safe Mode. Does it say 'Safe Mode' in each corner of the display? If you are sure that it really is in Safe Mode, what happens when you shut-down and re-boot? Does it automatically run Scandisk? Does it then attempt to start in Normal Mode? Norton!!! - perhaps? - "Computer Starts Only in Safe Mode and System Restore Does Not Work Properly" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305671/en-us - Or, just maybe :- Have you got the 'Enable Startup Menu' box set in msconfig? Run msconfig.exe and on the General tab, select Advanced and uncheck the 'Enable Startup Menu' box. Mart "Baseballsucka31" wrote in message ... Safe mode to normal mode
No "Safe Mode" warnings means that it's NOT in Safe Mode.
If it's a resolution issue - and especially as you've got no (mouse?) cursor - sounds like your one or more drivers need re-installing. You *might* get away with a System Restore - rolling-back to a date/time when the screen and cursor were good. Good luck Mart "Baseballsucka31" wrote in message ... You might also want to try and change your resolution back to what it was, before it was 'accidentally switched' in Display Properties. It has worked for me already. Harry.
