Default Howto Restore Win98

I have an older compaq with windows 98. Its quite screwed
at the moment. D drives in C are missing, so u cant use
cds, and a bunch of other small things. Wondering how to
restore back to a later date in Windows 98. I heard
somewhere, youhave to do it in DOS. Thanks.

May not help depending on your issue, but, at the C: prompt in DOS type:
scanreg /restore

Now can you explain exactly what the problem is. What you were doing =
before this happened. Any programs installed/uninstalled?
