Default Networking ME and XP

Okay, I'm connecting a computer with ME and one with XP
via a netgear wireless router. Both computers can
successfully access the internet. But I am having problems
in accessing each other.

The XP computer can acess the ME successfully. The ME
cannot successfully copy shared files from the XP. The ME
start downloading the files but after awhile the
connection shuts off and I get an error. The error states
that the network is no longer available.
