To Franc Zabkar: The keyboard reassignment has returned to the default

The other day (in the threat "how to make em dash an easy quick character"),
you gave me a modified kbdus.kbd file (to go in C:\Windows\System) that
changed the | key on my keyboard to the em dash, —.

It worked and it was great. But now the keyboard has reverted to the way it
was before. I have a backup of the modified .kbd file you gave me, but if
the changed setting won't stick, what can we do about that?
