Default backing up files

I have windows me millenium, do I need a seperate program to back up my
photos and or files? And can anyone tell me how to do it? Or tell me what
program to buy. I have read books but it does not explain how to do it. I
only have basic computrer knowledge and am still learning. Thanks! RH

First of all, do you have a CD Burner (called CD-RW) on this computer.
Without that, you can't do it.

For software, I use Roxio 6 to back up data, burn music CD's and also back
up photos as data. I happened to buy it on eBay for $10, which was a lot
better than the Roxio price of $70 or so (Cdn.)
