My jpeg files no longer have jpeg icons. They have a
window icon and I am no longer able to open them by clicking on them. No idea what happened. Anybody else know? Thanks! |

What do you expect to happen when you click on them? For instance, do you
expect them to open in a graphics image viewer application? If so, then you may have uninstalled it. You can get a good graphics viewer at www.irfanview.com When you install it, you can confirm that it should be the default application for JPG and JPEG files. If you expect something else to happen for these files (for instance, they should open in a graphics editing utility) you need to identify what that application is and re-establish the file association. The procedure is described under 'Associating file types with programs" in the Windows help index. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) " wrote in message ... My jpeg files no longer have jpeg icons.
