formatting disks on cd-rom drive

Default formatting disks on cd-rom drive

help menu suggests clicking on drive (E:\) to be
formatted, and then in File options, to select Format. I
don't have that option in the File options. any other
method?

CD-ROMs can't be formatted. I assume you mean either CD-R or CD-RW. What
packet software do you have installed? For example are you using Ahead's InCD
or Roxio's DirectCD?
