Default phantom printers

If I click Start: Settings: Printers, I see the one actual printer and the
fax modem/Quicklink.
If I click on my computer in My Network Places I get the correct printer and
modem PLUS printer1 through printer6 which are nonexistent. The other
computers on the network also see the inflated list of printers, which of
course are not shared since they don't exist. How can I get rid of printers
1-6?

Never mind. I found the extra printers in the registry under LANMAN and
deleted them.
