winword.exe
My computer tells me it can not find "winword.exe". It has only happened a
couple times, but now it is preventing my daughter from working on an online class. I have Windows 98 and I have tried to search for the file and I can't find it either. What does winword.exe start? My wordpad works fine. Does anyone know what I should do? I would appreciate any advice. Thank You, Kay My address is Kay00 at joimail dot com.

winword.exe
Winword.exe is the executable file for Microsoft WORD. But if you don't
have WORD then it could be a trojan. The message you are seeing would occur if your anti-virus detected and quarantined the file, but you did not remove the infection correctly.
