Poor WIN98 performance
Hi the I use Win98SE on a Intel i810-based desktop with a 600MHz celeron
and integrated intel graphics. I recently did a clean install of WINXP, but performance was unacceptable (interesting, I ran WINXP on this a couple of years ago on this computer and it was fine). So I did a clean install of WIN98SE again and on the system monitor, something is using 25% of the system resources, continuously. Any idea what this is or how I can find out? Unfortunately, WIN98 doesn't have a TaskManager service (that I can find).
