Can't prevent IE 5.5 SP2 from issuing two security warnings
Hi,
Recently I have to use a very old Win98 SE PC, which has only IE 5.5 SP2. The problem is that I can not disable two security warnings: (1) When I visit website A, I get the security alert:"The security certificate has expired or is not yet valid..." But, under the Advanced tab in Internet Options, "Warn about invalid site certificates" is not selected. And, system time and date are correct. (2) When I try to log in to website B, I get: "you are about to be redirected to a connection that is not secure..." Similarly as above, "Warn if changing between secure and not secure mode" is not selected. Actually, all the security options under the Advanced tab, except the 3 default encryption schemes, are not selected. How can I avoid those two security warnings, except changing browser? |
