Default Product Key

I'm trying to reinstall Win98SE and each time it asks me
for the product key, I enter the one from my diskette
jacket which I have been using all along, but now I'm
getting a message that it is an incorrect key. What's up
with this? I paid money for software that is now
obsolete? Microsoft, what's going on?

Check the key again and make sure you are entering it correctly.
Sometimes it is easy to confuse a "G" for a "6" or a "B" for an "8"
(or vice versa).
The key should be 5 segments of 5 characters each.

Good luck
