Default Trojan Horse Dropper Delf.3.L

I have received several warnings from AVG that the Trojan
horse Dropper Delf.3.L has infected
C:\Temp\Installer"1.exe and C:\Temp\Installer2exe
AVG advised it could not heal so items were moved to Virus
Vault.
Can this trojan horse be cleansed from my computer and
permanently removed? If so, how?
It is severely hampering my ability to get into Internet
Explorer and has slowed my computer down dramatically.

1) Download the following two items...

Trend Sysclean Package
http://www.trendmicro.com/download/dcs.asp

Latest Trend signature files.
http://www.trendmicro.com/download/pattern.asp

Create a directory.
On drive "C:\"
(e.g., "c:\New Folder")

Download sysclean.com and place it in that directory.
Dowload the signature files (pattern files) by obtaining the ZIP file.
For example; lpt186.zip

Extract the contents of the ZIP file and place the contents in the same directory as
sysclean.com.

2) Disable System Restore
http://vil.nai.com/vil/SystemHelpDoc...SysRestore.htm
3) Reboot your PC into Safe Mode
4) Using Sysclean, perform a Full Scan of your platform and clean/delete
any infectors found.
5) Restart your PC and perform a "final" Full Scan of your platform using Sysclean
6) Re-enable System Restore and re-apply any System Restore preferences,
(e.g. HD space to use suggested 400 ~ 600MB),
7) Reboot your PC.
8) Create a new Restore point
9) Please report back your results

Thanks for the info but being a complete dummy I need lots
of help.
How do I create a directory?
How do I place sysclean in the directory?
How do I place pattern file in same directory?
What do I tell it to open with?
Can you walk me through these procedures?
I would really appreciate the assistance.

Maybe you need to bring in your PC to a qualified Service Center.

I can't "hold your hand" across the Internet.

Sorry - didn't think my instructions were that complex.

Numerous times provided, numerously reported cleaned platforms.

Your instructions were probably not complex for someone
who is more computer literate than this aging senior
citizen. In my case, they were somewhat simplistic. I
was able to download the files but did not know how to set
up a directory so I could use them. Since I live in a
rural area my resources for help and information are very
limited. Again, my apologies.
