Default Wireless networking/broadband sharing

I have created a wireless network using Belkin's ADSL
modem and wireless router (802.11g). This works fine
with 2 pc's that have windows xp but although a third pc
(windows 98se) has installed the wireless network card
ok, it will not connect to the network. The Belkin
network icon is red on this pc whereas on the other 2 it
is green. Is windows 98 not suitable for wireless
networking? Any ideas?????
