Default default icons arrangements in winme

Icons are not arranged as default in winme as they are in
win98 . After moving a certain icon from its space it
permantly remains there . Icons can be arranged through
selecting autoarrange option . But how can all the icons
of all the windows can be set to default . How can i fix
this problem ?

Not sure what you mean by "default" for the icon arrangement, however, there
is a very small, free app called Iconoid that will allow you to do many
things with the desktop icons and arrange them as you want them. It will
'remember' the arrangement for a given screen resolution and put them back
in place for you if they become shuffled. Check it out at www.sillysot.com
.. Note: the "Icon Dance" feature of this app is a useless waste of cpu
cycles.
Heirloom, old and like it for arranging icons +

awan, go to a folder that has the default settings(or custom..) and then select
the Tools menu/ Folder Options/ View tab
find the button "Like Current Folder" and go for it!

i suggest.. customize that folder first to how you want all your folders to appear? Then select View Like Current Folder
peace
