Can't reinstall WMP 6.4
I use 6.4 simply as an mpeg viewer on win98 SE and do not want later versions
with extra unneeded baggage. After downloading an mpeg joiner, (that did not work) 6.4 no longer opened under any circumstances so I tried reinstalling it from mpfull64.exe which always worked before. This time it keeps hanging up with no error message. I also tried running windows update (ie6setup.exe) from the Windows update setup files directory but it also hangs up at the 92% point of installing WMP. I need 6.4 to run. Please help. Thanks.
