disk defragmenter

my disk defragmenter and scan disk only work on safe mode.
How can I get them to work on regular mode?

First, try stopping the dross from running in the background.....
look here for instructions on how to clean up your startup axis, preventing
unnecessary programs loading

Once you've done that, see whether ScanDisk and Defrag work.
If not, then it's going to need detective work on your part to find the
interfering application.

(The above assume that you get the 'scandisk has restarted 10 times'
problem rather than an error message - if that's not the case, then post
back with DETAILS)

Let ScanDefrag help, the log will list all running
programs and Restrictive Mode will try to stop them,
see the ReadMe.
