Default Outlook Express

I have Microsoft Outlook on my computer, but someone told me to go to outlook
express. When I used their link it took me there, but I don't know how to
pull up outlook express without that.
I am trying to get to these newsgroups without having to go through the
Microsoft page, which is so confusing and doesn't work half the time. I
remember quite a while ago I used to have and use Outlook express.
When I pull up Microsoft OUtlook, it is not outlook express.
Can someone help? Thaksl.

Patti, Outlook Express is used by MS Outlook as a newsreader. You don't need to
also install Outlook Express. Do this instead:

Use FindFiles & Folders to search for MSIMN.EXE. When you find it, RIGHT-click
it and drag it to your Desktop. When you let go, choose "Create Shortcut Here"
from the options offered. Then right-click on the new icon and Rename it to "OE
Newsreader". Next, right-click the icon again and place your cursor anywhere in
the "Target" box, press the End key, add a space, then "/newsonly" (without the
quotation marks.) That's a forward-slash followed by the word "newsonly".
