IEEE 1394 CARD not recognized
I have a dell dimension 8100 PC with Millenium.
I just bought a IEEE 1394 card KEC 1582 T including the Texas instrument chipset TSB43AB23. When I boot up the system it sees the new card. But when he tries to install I don't know what(?driver) automatically or with the original CD installation disks, it fails. This is a driverless card and Millenium should recognize the card automatically. I don't think this is a driver problem but maybe some kind of IRQ conflict or something else. Can somebody help me. I have already spend 50 hours on this problem... pascal |
