Formatting Hardisk
"Bob" wrote in message ... I tried to load Windows 98 on my machine and a message came up ..Windows setup requires 7340032 bytes..then nothing. What does this mean??? first off, is your drive properly partitioned and formatted (win98 can be installed on a fat16 or a fat32 partition) also, if you are using a "simple" bootdisk you also need a memory manager you can get a new bootdisk from www.bootdisk.com or else set your bios to just boot right from the cd |
