Wired networking
Back a few years ago, I bought a Linksys BEFSR41 cable
router when I first got Comcast. I got frustrated with trying to set it up and gave up. I want to re-try again. Is that router still good to use or is it obsolete by now? Thanks |

Is that router still good to use or is it obsolete by now? a) Get the manual from Linksys' site b) Get the latest BIOS upgrade for it c) Reset to default d) Install new BIOS e) whoosh. Rick |

There should be no reason why you cannot use this router, just make sure you
have the updated drivers including the firmware. Go to the Linksys site with the model number to be sure! "Ro" wrote in message ...
