When you change that battery, the BIOS resets to a 'default' configuration which usually degrades performance. Go into the BIOS and check out the CPU Plug n Play Setup or a similar section. It should be in there somewhere. Try here (use the free BIOS Opt Guide): http://www.rojakpot.com/ The place it is varies depending on the BIOS and/or motherboard. You could go into the BIOS and just try setting it to 'Load Best Performance' or similar settings What cpu are you using? An AMD or an Intel or ? |
