Default Windows keeps complaining about MFC42.dll

I went to the add/remove programs app and deleted garbage that AOL
installed on my system. Garbage like the AOL Toolbar, AOL explorer
(different than IE) and a free spyware scanner (I use McAfee). But know
everytime I reboot I receive a message that the file

"MFC42.dll" cannot be found. I receive this message whenever I boot,
and it shows itself 5-10 times after I hit okay. It continues to show
itself when I try to launch Norton System Works apps. I tried launching
Norton Windoctor to clean this problem and cannot.

I am using my Mac to post this message (which is also having issues of
its own. But in its case I await Tech Tools pro 4.x from Micromat. No
idea if it will solve my problems, but you never know.

Thanks,

John

The mfc file must have been deleted but there is still a reference to
it in the registry or an ini file. Simplest solution is to reload
that mfc file e.g. using the link in earlier response
