Problem with Adaptec Easy CD Pro 95
I know Easy CD Pro 95 is out of the Ark but it's been working fairly well -
until day before yesterday that is. Now, when I try to launch the program I get the error - "SCSI Initialisation failed. In order to run this program you must have WNASP132.DLL installed and started. (Code 220-11-00-00)" My CD Burner, an old Memorex, isn't even a SCSI device and usually I get something like "No Compatible CD Drive found on SCSI Bus," then I close and restart the program and it detects the Memorex drive which is an ATAPI device, say so, and away I go. Since my SCSI scanner packed up all I've had on the SCSI bus is an old JAZ drive that doesn't work either. Might deleting this and the SCSI card from Device Manager and physically removing them help? I've removed and re-installed Easy CD Pro of course but it's made no difference. I found WNASP132.DLL on my C drive and copied it to all likely locations, Common Files, various System folders, the Easy CD Pro folder etc. but it's made no difference. Any further ideas would be most welcome. I've since tried re-installing Windows 98, installing a new set of downloaded ASPI files and also tried a LiteOn burner. The Nero software also reported a file missing but only named it as ?.? A lot of help that was! - not! It seem what I really need to do is to find the correct location for the WNASP132.DLL file and a way of making Easy CD Pro find it and run it. The Registry comes to mind but all I've even done is edited it from time to time. Adding whatever is necessary to achieve the above is beyond me. The PC is a ten-year-old Dell Dimension XPS H226 running Windows 98SE. Thanks in advance, Nemo |

Problem with Adaptec Easy CD Pro 95
Easy CD Creator has evolved from unreliable, (produced beer mats regularly),
and temperamental, to VERY good. Very early versions - their tech. support advised one to not install anything else on the PC !). So why fight with old problems ? Get a new version ! regards, Richard "nemo" wrote in message .uk... I know Easy CD Pro 95 is out of the Ark but it's been working fairly well - until day before yesterday that is. New Name for Adaptec Easy CD Pro 95
By the way, it is now called Roxio Easy CD Creator. There is also Nero
Burning ROM, which I prefer. "RJK" wrote in message ... Easy CD Creator has evolved from unreliable, (produced beer mats regularly), and temperamental, to VERY good. I use Nero, I agree it is very good but, the interface could do with some
tidying up. Mine is version 6.3.1.6 ...a bit dated now ! regards, Richard "Juan B. Rivera" wrote in message ... By the way, it is now called Roxio Easy CD Creator.
