Default Sorting Folders under Win98

Greetings:

Recently, my folders have been defaulting to sorting by last used
rather than alphebetical order which was the previous default. It is
especially annoying when I open a program like word, and have to do a
"View", "Arrange Icons" "By Name". Is there a registry setting that I
need to change to get the fault once again by name?

Thanks.

Hi J,

One of these articles should address the sorting problem.

Contents of the Open and Save As Dialog Boxes Sorted Incorrectly

Items in "Open" and "Save As" Dialog Boxes Sorted Incorrectly

Thanks VERY much! I'll drop the solutions and I'm sure one will work.

Thanks again.
