Installing win98 SE

Will windows98 SE work one a mother board that has 4GB of
RAM MEMORY and a 3.00GHz CPU(prosseser)and with 2 300GB
Hard drives and 2 floppy drives and 1 CD-RW Drive and a
DVD drive????

Probably yes
-- but you may encounter the NDIS problem (of OS
installation crapping out at reboot because of a
divide-by-zero error, because CPU is faster than 2.2 GHz.

1. There is limited documentation about this
on the MS web site. Via voice phone call,
MS will send you free a patch for the OS.
(But this OS did not work on my 2.8 GHz Pc.)

2. It is worth just trying again. (In my case the
OS installed at about the fifth attempt.)

3. Fine tuning will involve special SYSEDIT file
settings for the large RAM.
