Default Ron Badour

I don't suppose anyone can answer this but I seem to miss the greater
part (but not all) of Ron Badour's postings.

I know, from others' quotes, that he is posting regularly and I do see
a small number of those posts but there are many that don't show up.
As far as I can tell, I'm not missing any others ... although perhaps,
at that, I couldn't be certain. It would likely be most noticeable
with Ron's posts because they are always so helpful and informative.

I miss Ron!

If you are subscribing through your ISP's new server, then you will get
better results by using msnews.microsoft.com instead.

Hey Woof

My posting amount has been down lately as I am in the process of locating
and buying a house. For Oct, I have only posted 77 messages--I normally do
somewhere between 30 and 50 a day. Thanks for the kind words :-)

I have a local news server set up (Hamster) which is pulling this (and
other groups) from 3 external servers including msnews.microsoft.com
and combining them. The only other thing that I can think of are my
filters. In fact, I filter this group only minimally compared with
some other usenet groups ... and I certainly don't filter Ron!!

I do have a couple of filters designed to get rid of the jerk who
keeps posting the rather obvious virus sucker-bait here. Perhaps one
of those is having unforseen consequences. I must check. Maybe I'll
turn off all filters and see if Ron comes back.
