Hey PCR, I have two more questions for ya:

1) Did you really get Vista, or are they kidding?

If I had Vista, I'm sure the weeds outside my window would be dead of
the irradiation-- but they aren't! Did you see what Bear
posted...??!!!??....

Guess who I ran into? =

Poor (Bicycle) Rob is irradiated into the spirit world! He was so
good for Win98 once! I wish I had completed his obituary in time!

So that's where he went!!

Uh-huh. He ended up in a cave next door to a nosey Bear whose
hibernation was interrupted by snow melting early on his head. It was
Vista-irradiation!

2) Is Coney Island still a bit seedy, or has it gone upscale?

I'm pretty far away from there. I keep reading of projects down there
that get stalled, though.

"Projects", as in housing projects? (ugh) Or projects, as in
projects to help improve the neighborhood?

I think they want a revamped arcade & luxury housing.

O needless misunderstanding!

All these years and I'm now finding out we're almost neighbors, for
crying out loudly!

Used to live in Greenpoint.

The last time I was there a few years ago I got the impression from
the looks on people's faces that I did not belong there - ie, I was no
longer welcomed as the neighborhood has become a Third World enclave.

No comment. :-).

You mean Coney Island has gone MORE downhill, than a decade or two ago
(which is when I was out there last)?
