Not sure about the icon cache for that one, don't think that would be the
cause. You say all the .html files have the Adaware icon.........is this in Windows Explorer? You could try increasing the icon cache, but, I am thinking something else may be awry. Give the following a shot and post back with more details if it doesn't do the trick: Download and install a little tweak from here http://www.aumha.org/regfiles.htm which will increase the size of your IconCache. The above can't hurt anything, so, it is worth a go. Heirloom, old and did it to mine manually "Heather" wrote in message ... Grin.......OK, no mojos. AdAware (at least the free version) does NOT update itself - it requires
explicit instruction to do so. -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2004, Win9x) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's or http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/f.../Mar27pmvp.asp "mts04" wrote in message ... You did good!!! Glad it worked for you. What you fixed was the amount of
space available to the icon cache......this is usually a result of having a large number of icons on your desktop, beyond what the existing cache can handle.
