Default problem freeing harddrive space

Hi everyone..

I have a maybe stupid question..

I am trying to free up hard drive space, yet it seems although I dont have
many things listed when I look at my add/remove programs in the control
panel,
I am still low on harddrive space..and I frequently get a notice saying so.
I do have things listed in my add/remove that I simply dont know what they
are but they have always been there such as Turbo Project v.4 and NetActive
Launcher (what are those and do I need to keep them?)

What is a good way to free up hard drive space, since I am obviously
overlooking something somewhere...

Ive uninstalled everything I think I can take off safely..

What else could be lurking? Where is the best place to look?

Thanks in advance..
Tarcia

Click "Start", "Programs", "Accessories", "System Tools", "Disk Cleanup".

Default problem freeing harddrive space

A couple of freeware utilities which might help locate what's taking up
space.

A) WinDirStat - http://windirstat.info/

B) Dfolder Size v3.2 - http://www.freewareweb.com/cgi-bin/archive.cgi?ID=620

Both work well with WinMe.

In addition to the previous suggestions, take a look at your picture files
(.bmp, .tif, jpeg etc.)
