On many occasions I have received the message "lexplore
has caused an error in kernel32.dll" In checking the
internet, I find that this error has been attributed to
Internet Explorer version 5.0 and 5.5 and the solution
stated in, one case, to upgrade the browser. I am using,
and have been using for some time, IE version
6.0.2800.11061C update version SP1; q837009.

I would sure appreciate some help with this problem.

Thanks

Jack

It seems that conflicts with iexplore and kernel32 are not uncommon and
sometimes involve OEM utilities.

I suggest you trawl the MS Knowledge Base and search for "iexplore kernel32"
under All MS Products using 'all of the words entered'. There are some 25
resuts, one of which *may* fit your circumstances.

Good luck - and please come back if you are able to find a solution there.
Others may well find it helpful.

Next time the error happens press Alt+D while the error message is
still on the screen. That will bring up the Detailed Error Message
which has more explicit information about the error. Make note of the
first part of the Detailed Error Message, up to the word Registers:,
and use that when searching for specific information about your error.

Also see MVP Jim Eshelman's web page for Kernel32 errors at
http://aumha.org/win4/a/kernel32.htm

Good luck
