Default Where's the load file

Hi to all,
I have a duel boot system, ME / 2000,
and my question is this, when booting up my PC, it comes
to a dos screeen asking me to select the OS I want to boot
to, either ME or Windows 2000,
I would like to modify this page, to have the order
changed, but cannot find it.
Can someone tell me where this file is? or the name of the
file that is being called here. Thanks in advance for any
help.

It is you who are mistaken. You will find boot.ini in the root of C:. Make
sure that you have Explorer enabled to see hidden system files and folders and
also make sure you check all your system drives.

I believe you're mistaken this for maybe windows 3.1 or
something. I thank you for your help, but it's not as you
say, If any one else out there, knows where I can find
this file, I could really use you're help, and thanks in
advance.

Mike is perfectly correct - it's you that's in error.

No mistake, see :-

"How To Edit the Boot.ini File in Windows 2000"
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;311578

e.g. section on 'saving a backup copy of boot.ini' :-

"In the left pane, click the %systemroot% drive, in the right pane, click
the Boot.ini file, and then click 'Copy'

Why can't you admit that you are the one who is in error? You ask for help,
get given the answer and then fail repeatedly to accept what you are told. If
this is an indication of the level of your competence when dealing with
computers may I suggest you give your PC to someone who at the very least
knows how to use Explorer.
