I am having numerous problems with my computer, disk
defrag and system restore are not working and computer is
freezing up constantly. Some said to check config to see
what programs are loading up when I boot up. I went to
config-startup and it shows 45 programs being loaded. Is
there a way I can determine which are really necessary for
the function of my computer and which can be shut off?

Would really appreciate any help I can get.

WTF has the OP's original question to do with Defrag???

Please learn a little about the OS before posting responses to questions
