Default spool manager

I have been printing until a couple of days ago. When I try
to print I get an error that says unable to start spool
manager and will not print. I have an epson 800 printer. I
have tried shutting down and reinstalling and that does not
work I hooked up my printer to a laptop and it prints fine
on that. Hoew do I fix my desk top? Please help!
