I can't restore Internet Conection Sharing
I had a PC with Windows ME sharing internet to a PC with Windows 95.
I added to the LAN a PC with Windows XP. I had problems with this last computer to make it visible in the LAN so I changed the IPs on the PCs to 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.2 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0. When I reboot the ME PC the internet sharing icon dissepeared. I tried running again the LAN wizzard and taking off and on the network adapter driver with no success. Do you know how can I restore the Internet sharing without reinstalling my operating system? -- Greetings from Paraguay. Claudio Bogado Pompa. |

I can't restore Internet Conection Sharing
The host machine for ICS MUST have an IP of 192.168.000.001 - the others are
up for grabs. The Subnet must be 255.255.255.0 -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2004, Win9x) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's or http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/f.../Mar27pmvp.asp "Claudio Bogado Pompa" wrote in message ...
